Battle seems possible on naming of general (The Arizona Republic)

Gov. Janet Napolitano named Brig. Gen. Richard Maxon as “permanent” director of the Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services. The word was used to distinguish him from the job he’s done over the last four months as “interim” director of the agency.
