3rd Circuit invalidates Forest Hill mayor recall (WXVT 15 Greenville)

FOREST HILL, La. (AP) - A scheduled May 1 recall election for Forest Hill Mayor Marcia Young apparently will not be held. In an eight-page opinion issued this week, the state 3rd Circuit Court of Appeal reversed a March 3 state court ruling, which had declared the recall petition valid.
